Homestay message
Hello,
My name is Robert. I am a professor at a small private liberal arts college in the Boston area. My wife Jennifer, son Charlie and Sylvie (the cat) and I live on the first floor of a beautiful old farmhouse in the quiet Dorchester neighborhood of Lower Mills. We are 4 blocks from the Ashmont T station, which brings passengers to the center of the city in 22 minutes. The separate apartment, which consists of the 2nd and 3rd floors of our house, has 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full service kitchen on the 2nd floor, and a smaller kitchenette on the 3rd. I keep a vegetable and botanical garden in bloom throughout the growing seasons. We spend a lot of time outdoors, boating, hiking, and exploring the sea coast in the summer time. We regularly head north into Vermont and New Hampshire on weekends during the winter for snowboarding and other snow sports. We are looking for several mature students who might periodically want to eat dinner with us and come along on some outdoor adventures.
